What can I say.... but a very big thank you to all involved with producing my Bespoke Suit. I have wanted to indulge for years in the pleasure of having something made totally from scratch and unique to me. It has most definitely been truly worth the six weeks wait.

The process was a breeze and I enjoyed working with Toby immensely to ensure the measurements and all the details were perfect - I now feel that my suit reflects all the elements I wanted incorporated and the fit is beyond comfort. I have also appreciated the low key and discreet way that our appointments and fittings have been conducted within the comfort of my home and office and I will certainly be recommending Hemingway to my friends and business colleagues.

You are definitely onto a winning formula - keep up the excellent work!

Just a quick note to all at Hemingway to say a very big thank you on the way in which you have looked after me. As someone not used to the process of bespoke tailoring I was unsure as to what to expect - the relaxed, friendly and professional manner that I have been dealt with has totally converted me to the concept of personal tailoring.

As you know I am a busy fellow these days and it has been so easy to get my suit sorted - coming to my office was perfect! My finished suits look so smart, I can get off the plane in Milan and go directly to my meetings looking and feeling my best. The highest quality coupled with an outstanding level of service” Like most men I hate shopping so when Toby introduced Hemingway’s visiting tailor service he was off to a good start. Bespoke is actually a term which dates back from the 17th century, when tailors held full lengths of cloth in their premises. When a customer chose a length of material it was said to have “been spoken for", hence a tailor who makes your clothes individually to your specific personal requirements, is called bespoke.Unlike “made to measure” which simply uses a basic pattern which is then adjusted to your measurements.

That's the difference - my tailor was adjusting to fit.   Toby produced a Bespoke suit handcrafted to my exact design and specification resulting in a unique garment. Yes, it's a pricey business but it is most certainly value for money.
